"It came to pass at the end of the forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made."- Genesis 8:6

Two interesting phrases in the King James’ Translation are: ‘it came to pass’, and ‘it shall come to pass’. Prophecies were given by God to show history’s events were known to him from the beginning, and to have our faith increased. When we read these phrases, we are reading of the fulfillment of that which God had already foretold. Genesis 9:14
