"I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself. In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Colossians 2:2-3 NLT

"He stretches out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing."- Job 26:7
Science proves the Bible; and here is a good example. Job told us long ago that the earth hangs upon nothing, which describes the earth in orbit around the sun. The Bible tells of scientific things, rather than explaining them. It is descriptive and poetic, and in that sense, incredibly beautiful. Psalm 104:5

Pray without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
WHATEVER might be our natural inclinations with reference to definiteness and persistency in prayer, we must take our instructions from the Scriptures; and overcoming our natural predilections, we must as "little children" and as "dear children" conform our views and conduct to the instruction which is from above. Let us all, therefore, remember the words, "ask (in My name), and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full."--John 16:24. The Heavenly Father has multiplied mercies, blessings and providences in store for His obedient and faithful children who will ask for them.

Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never \ thirst. John 4:14
ERRORS, falsities, may satisfy temporarily the craving of those who have never yet tasted of the truth, the water of life; but nothing can give permanent, lasting satisfaction except the truth; and our Lord himself, the Word, the Logos, the message of the Father, full of grace and truth, is the embodiment and representative of this satisfying water of life. Whoever receives the Lord as his Redeemer and Leader and Teacher, through whom all the gracious promises of God are to be fulfilled; whoever receives this water of life receives a satisfying portion, and will never be found looking for truth in other directions. It will satisfy his longings as nothing else could do, and so abundantly as to leave no appetite for strange waters.
