"All the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God."- 2 Corinthians 1:20

The Greek word translated yea means ‘a strong yes’,’ truly’,’ surely’. The word Amen means ‘firm’ or ‘trustworthy’,’ surely’, or ‘so be it’. These are two strong words which tell us that God’s promises are absolutely true, and firm, and sure of fulfillment- not wavering nor uncertain. This means we can have full confidence in him at all times. Isaiah 55:11
