"See that none render evil for evil unto any man."-2 Thessalonians 5:15

It does not improve a bad situation to take revenge on someone who has done evil to you. With God’s help it is possible to return good for evil. Sometimes the person doing the harmful deed is ashamed of his actions when an act of kindness and forgiveness is shown toward him. Jesus was a good example to us: he had pity, forgiveness, and love in his heart for those who injured him. Proverbs 20:22
