"This Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."- Matthew 24:14

Christians are to witness to all the world, sharing the good news of Jesus’ ransom sacrifice and the coming kingdom. Elsewhere he states that at his second coming there would be a time of trouble such as never was before. This clearly indicates that the world in general would not be converted to him as soon as he returned. Galatians 1:23
