"I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself. In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."  Colossians 2:2-3 NLT

God "is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."- Hebrews 11:6

Diligently means ‘carefully’. If anyone earnestly looks for God and his troth, God will see that he or she finds him. People who are satisfied with errors about God’s character and plans will be left with these errors; they will not find the truth. Lamentations 3:25

His Word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay. (Jeremiah 20:9)

LET us who are privileged to remain to this time of favor, blessing and enlightenment give glory to the Lord, and see to it that the loving disposition of John is manifested in us, and also his energy, his zeal; for while he is called the loving disciple we are to remember also that he was, because of his impetuous zeal, styled, with his brother, Boanerges--son of thunder. Let us be full of energy, full of sacrifices which love prompts, that we may glorify the Lord in our bodies and spirits which are His.

Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Psalm 73:24

THE humble and believing children of God will realize that while they may not be able at all times to understand the Lord's ways in all his dealings, they can know of his wisdom, love, and care, and they can therefore trust him where they cannot trace him. We should not expect to be able always to comprehend the divine wisdom, which is so much beyond our own; yet we can often see it afterward. Sometimes his discipline may be severe, and by no means easy to bear, yet "afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness." After the bitter comes the sweet; so let us take the bitter patiently, and rejoice in hope of the sure fulfilment of all the exceeding great and precious promises to be realized in due time by those who patiently continue in welldoing--in submitting without reserve to the providence of God, to the guidance with his counsel.
