Jesus’ friends were all the human race. Jesus agreed with God to lay aside all that he had in heaven, and to have his life- principle transferred to the baby born in Bethlehem. He consented to become a human being and to willingly give up that perfect human life to pay the price for the life Adam lost through disobedience in the Garden of Eden. Ephesians 5:2
